Pre-Masters Programme

The Pre-Masters Programme is designed to prepare students for a postgraduate degree at Royal Holloway, University of London. Ideal for students who have already enjoyed studying an undergraduate degree and want to continue their studies in a vibrant, new environment, this programme will introduce you to the British education system and give you the skills you need to make the most of studying abroad. The Pre-Masters Programme offers:

  • four different subject pathways
  • an extra two terms of study, prior to a postgraduate degree
  • a well-rounded introduction to life in the UK
  • specialised teaching of an internationally-tailored curriculum
  • social inclusion and authentic university experience
  • a multi-cultural, accepting learning environment.

English for Pre-Masters 

If you require additional English language support, you can boost your written and spoken skills with our English for Pre-Masters course. This one- or two-term course is designed for students whose IELTS do not meet the programme’s entry requirements, and focuses on improving your pre-existing English language skills, so they are up to postgraduate study-standards.
